GET INVOLVED

Support your local community and help us transform lives by offering up your time to volunteer at Vineyard Community & Richmond Foodbank.

How can I volunteer?

Volunteers are the backbone of everything we do here at Vineyard Community & Richmond Foodbank. It is simply not possible without these local community heroes. We have a range of volunteering roles available, across our Crisis Drop-In, Foodbank, charity shops, and other community groups and services.

If you’re interested in getting involved, please fill out the form on the left and a member of our team will be in touch within 5 working days.

Current volunteer vacancies

Gails Collection Volunteer, Thursdays (6pm-7pm)
Help fight food waste and support your community! We’re looking for a Thursday evening volunteer to collect surplus bread and pastries from Gail’s in St Margarets at 6pm and deliver them to the Vineyard Community Centre. A car is essential for this role. Make a difference in under an hour a week!

Mortlake Foodbank Volunteer, Mondays (1:30pm-2:45pm)
Be a friendly face during times of crisis at our Mortlake Foodbank, chatting with guests, filling in food preference forms, and packing up food parcels for those in need.

Crisis Drop-In Volunteer , Fridays (9am-11am)
Lead our clothing giveaway at the Crisis Drop-In!
Manage our clothing donations—organising supplies, tracking giveaway lists, and keeping staff updated on what’s needed. A great role for someone organised who wants to make a direct impact.

Please note that we are unable to work with those under 18 on site, due to our Safeguarding Policy. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept short-term volunteer placements at this time due to admin and staff capacity.

If you haven’t heard from us and it has been more than 5 business days, please check your junk folder, and reach out to us via the contact us page as needed.

Thank you in advance for your support!
