2022 marks the 10-year anniversary of the Vineyard Community Centre!

To celebrate, we are organising a number of events and activities alongside you, our supporters. We are also delighted to celebrate our anniversary with the appointment of a new Chief Executive David Logan. David has worked as our caseworker for the last 18 months and has extensive executive level experience.

The Vineyard has come a long way since its inception in 2012, when it had a staff team of just three. Now, we have 16 members of staff and many volunteers who generously give up their time and resources.

We have been truly blessed with the support of the community through helping hands, gifts in kind, and financial contributions over the last decade. Without their input, we could not have sustained our work, particularly during Covid times when restrictions were in place and record numbers of people could not collect food parcels.

We have served thousands of individuals and their families in their time of need. Whether that be through hands-on help at our morning drop-in, referrals to addiction specialists, support with the transition off the streets, or providing food for families in crisis.

Unfortunately, the demand for crisis support services will only rise as the UK now faces a worsening cost-of-living crisis and an increase of refugees in need of support. With ever more people expected to seek our services, we continue to be dependent on your support and generosity to maintain our work. As we celebrate our ten-year anniversary and look back on all that has been achieved in this time, we are appealing to our community to donate via the forms below.

We are also welcoming your creative ideas to raise money for the Vineyard Community. You are invited to come up with your own take on ‘ten years’ – this might be a…

  • 10km run
  • Bake sale with 10 (or 100!) cakes
  • 10km cycle ride
  • Group of 10 performing a challenge of their choice

We also have spaces in the Richmond Running Festival on 10/11th September – you can register to run in support of the Vineyard https://www.run-fest.com

Thank you for your continuous support!
